ERARD Paris Last grand piano n°1 of Pauline Viardot Rosewood and rosewood veneer, metal frame metal frame, it stands on three fluted baluster feet ending with brass castors. Frame and sash numbered 78427. Made in December 1898. Small damages to the veneer and insolate. H. 99 W. 212 D. 141 cm Provenance : - January 20, 1899: given by the ERARD house to Pauline Viardot in Paris, replacing Piano 74305 - 27 January 1903, taken over from Madame Pauline Viardot in Paris by the ERARD company. - April 12, 1904, bought by Mrs Drake del Castillo in Paris, installed in the castle of Véretz in Indre-et-Loire. - By family descent in Véretz.
