First edition of this work renowned for the quality of the information it contains. Published without author's name: the dedication is signed by Le Sage, probably a pseudonym of P.-A. Alletz. The copper-engraved hors-texte illustration consists of 7 plans showing the successive developments of the city, 20 plans of districts at the head of each chapter (the first one, la Cité, illustrated by 2 plates, that is to say 21 plates), and a general folding plan drawn up by L. Denis, with colored borders.
