(title, explanation), pl. in contemporary havana racine basane, smooth and ornate dis, salmon title-piece, cold fillet on the boards, red edges (corners worn, tear on the head-cap, some dust marks and russeting in the margins). Album (alone, without the text volume) comprising 155 copper-engraved plates, most of them folding (num. I-CLII and 3 bis), showing the rider's dress, the horse's movements, the harnessing, and a large number of figures of maneuvers. Provenance: Grulé, captain of the 13th regiment of dragoons (old manuscript bookplate).
