(including the illustrated title), 365 p.,  f., pl., figs, modern half vellum, smooth spine, red basane title-piece (2 corners crushed; engraved title a little trimmed on the right, same slightly for the h.-t. view at the foot; freckles on the pl., light wetness on qq. ff. at the beginning of the volume, small angular worm work in the margins p.273-297).
First edition of this work distinguished by its entirely woodcut illustration, including a typographed title decorated with an architectural frame adorned with allegories, a remarkable map of Berry, a folding panorama of the city of Bourges, figures of more than 70 coats of arms of mayors and municipal officers, a page of local coins, the arms of the city in an ornate full-page frame; initials and bands.
