Description of the projects and the construction of the bridges of Neuilli, Mantes, Orleans, Louis XVI, etc. The project of the Canal de Bourgogne and the project of the water conduit of the Yvette and the Biève to Paris have been added. A Paris, chez Didot fils aîné & Jombert jeune, 1788. One volume of text in-4 ([2] f., VIII-696 p.; period fawn calf, smooth spine decorated, defects including worn corners and headpieces, upper cover detached, some russets) + large atlas in-folio including a portrait of Perronet engraved by A. de Saint Aubin after C. N. Cochin, and 75 copper-engraved plates (num. I-LXXIII + XXXIV bis et ter), contemporary brown half-basin, smooth spine, gilt fillets, title-pieces (spine restored, headbands worn, corners dull, large tear on lower cover; very rare foxing). Second edition, the most complete one, with the addition of the bridges of Château-Thierri, Brunoi, the one planned for Saint-Petersburg, etc.
