Third edition illustrated with 247 plates including 90 portraits of the counts of Flanders, bishops of Ghent, Bruges and Ypres, maps, city plans including Bruges, Ypres, Courtrai, Aalst, etc., views of castles and abbeys; and 16 engraved figures in the text.
