Two volumes in-4, contemporary red chagrin, spine with four ornate nerves, title, subtitle, tomaison and date gilt, finely ornamented caissons, boards decorated with a set of gilt roulettes and fillets, with monograms in the centers, gilt roulette at the edges of the boards and edges of the counter boards, gilt edges, azure satin guards (qq. flaws, of which the upper board of t.2 is faded and wetness in the margins of the head of this same volume). Copy printed on large vellum paper, large margins preserved. Provenance: Louis-Philippe I (1773-1850), king of the French (crowned figure gilt on the boards).
