[Fashion]. Léo TISSANDIÉ (workshop). Collection of more than 250 fashion drawings, in black and bistre ink, on fine paper, mounted in an oblong in-folio album, bound in black chagrin, gilt edges (corners and headpieces worn; a few defects and accidents, a few pieces missing). [Paris, circa 1925]. Almost all the drawings bear the stamp of the workshop, at the address of 48 rue d'Orsel. Léo Tissandié was a key figure in haute couture design from the 1920s to the 1950s; he designed for some of the most famous fashion houses of the time, such as Chanel, Patou, Lanvin, Rochas, Worth, etc.
