A collection of the most remarkable sites and monuments in terms of art and history of the departments of Sarthe, Mayenne and Maine-et-Loire, drawn by Baron de Wismes, lithographed by the best artists of Paris and accompanied by a historical, archaeological and descriptive text. The illustration consists of 2 frontispieces and 106 lithographic plates.
