Two volumes in-8, half-maroquin à la Bradel and with corners, smooth spine decorated with a floral design with 3 mosaic roses, author, title and date gilt, gilt fillet on the boards, gilt head, cover and spine preserved, bound on witnesses [Canape] (spine a little faded, corners very slightly rubbed, rare freckles).
Edition illustrated with a portrait of Zola and drawings by Édouard Dantan etched by A. Duvivier.
Limited edition of 300 copies : one of the 25 first copies, on China paper, with double proof of the engravings. Fine binding executed by Canape.
