Color lithograph, by Mme Leprince, heightened by hand, after a composition by Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759-1840); the print made by Villain. This very decorative plate is taken from a rare suite, of which no complete description is given by the reference work on the subject, A Catalogue of Redoutéana, Hunt Botanical Library, Pittsburg, 1963.
