Reunion of the 80 issues of four pages of this publication illustrated with 237 plates (119+118), most of them in black, some watercolored and some folded, reproducing caricatures from the 14th century to the early 19th century and accompanying texts by GOZLAN, HALÉVY, JANIN, NODIER, OURRY, PAULIN-PARIS, REYBAUD Marginal staining on a few leaves; large pale stain on a color plate of volume 2.
