Chased and gilt bronze elephant clock signed St Germain of Louis XV period The dial signed Testart in Paris, bears the signature of the enameller Merlet. The elephant rests on a leafy mound decorated with rocaille on which is the signature of St Germain. Small misses. H. 49 L. 37 D. 15 cm Georges Adrien Merlet (1754-1812), enameller.
