Elegant lace evening gown, Worth, circa 1935-1940, chocolate mechanical lace sheath, Calais type, decorated with foliage and floral scrolls; long sleeves, puffed at the shoulder, adjusted at the wrist by a line of 9 small covered buttons in pareil. Long skirt flared on the bottom, split in front. Dress without lining or bottom of dress; probably unfinished or entrusted to the retouch as could indicate a slip sewn on the bottom with the header of Worth mentioning the No. 94907, the names of the customer, the saleswoman and the workshop manager.
