Numerous tables including 15 folding hors-texte. Signature of the author on the title. Provenance : De Caieu, in Abbeville ; Et. Gangloff, in Mulhouse (modern bookplates). Attached : IRSON (Claude). In-4, [7 (of 8)] f., 464 p., [4] f., 1 large folding table hors-texte, contemporary speckled fawn basane, spine with 5 nerves, garnet morocco title-piece, ornamented caissons, double gilt fillet bordering the boards, cold roulette at the edges, speckled edges (superf. rubs to the spine and edges, 3 dull corners ; the title-page is missing - joined in modern copy - , browning). Bound at the end of this copy is an article by the same author, published in Le Journal of March 31, 1698, " Avis important à ceux qui entrent dans le commerce de la marchandise... ", printed in Paris by Cusson, paginated [131]-142. Handwritten bookplate dated 1703 on the upper cover. That is 2 volumes.
