Aucoc is one of the oldest firms on Rue de la Paix. As early as 1835, Casimir Aucoc
Aîné, breveté du Roi, established in rue Saint-Honoré, 154 where he mainly made necessities, moved to rue de la Paix
de la Paix at no. 6, adding goldsmithing to his specialty.
In his turn, Louis Aucoc aîné succeeded him in 1854, and a little later added jewelry to his production.
