Molded and carved wood chair, stamped by Jacob, Louis XVI period. With a basket-handle back, it stands on tapered, fluted and filleted legs. H. 89 L. 51 D. 48 cm "Illegible delivery label and later inscription: "JoinLambert" above. Georges Jacob received his master's degree in 1765. Very similar chairs were delivered by Jacob for the Duc de Penthièvre in Châteauneuf.
