Cinerary urn in white marble.
The ovoid body, decorated in relief with vegetal motifs, is flanked by two masks of Bacchus with foreheads
surrounded by a crown of vine leaves. A rectangular molded cartel in the center of one face was engraved
engraved with an inscription now faded. The details are treated with a drill bit. The top
of the masks features a cavity designed to hold the lid, which has now disappeared. Limestone deposit. Visible cracks and gaps, but well preserved.

Provenance: Christian Fougerousse collection, purchased in the '60s.
A similar urn is in the Doria Pamphilij Gallery in Rome.
