First edition of this collection of sixteen poems, in two parts, the first entitled "Dans la parole de Virgile" (12 poems), the second, "Vers les Bosquet d'Akadémos" (4 poems); illustrated with a canif-engraved frontispiece by Lucien Jacques. Often hailed as Jean Giono's discoverer, Lucien Jacques (1891-1961) was a painter, engraver, poet and brilliant publisher.
