SÈVRES, first half of the 19th century. Rectangular cookie plate with bas-relief decoration of three nymphs raising the statue of Love on an altar. 26 x 23 cm Gilded wood frame. The model is reproduced in Émile Bourgeois, Le Biscuit de Sèvres au XVIIIe siècle, Paris, 1909, pl. 52, no. 469. A 18th-century example was in the former Christner collection, Christie's, New York, June 9, 1979, lot 192, then Christie's, New York, June 1, 2018, lot 1194.
