Claude II Sené, known as le Jeune, was awarded the title of Master in 1769.
Based in rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, then rue de Cléry, he produced various types of Louis XVI-style seating, including some for royal houses. He was one of a handful of carpenters, such as Jean-Baptiste Boulard and Georges Jacob, who used the "pied cormier" on their seats.
