"The sun and moon in five colors, the sky populated by clouds and cranes, the earth with its deer, flowers, hills, cottages and fish, all these elements combined produce a splendid harmony. [...] If we wanted to give a naturalistic and humanistic meaning to O SYNG-YOON's artistic world, we would say that his new subject "Geomancy" is made of symbolism impregnated with inner and mysterious elements. In a way, it expresses our innumerable stories, which have their source in our traditional thoughts".
