A satin-finish veneered WOODEN COMMODE with two drawers in two rows with no visible crosspiece. The rounded uprights end in a curve. Stamped J.B. SAUNIER (Jean-Baptiste SAUNIER, received Master on July 29, 1757). Ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes on the lock escutcheons, handles, falls, apron and sabots. Capped with white veined red marble. 83 x 111 x 54cm. Restoration.
