In-8, XXXX-663 p., long-grained red morocco, smooth spine decorated with gilt roulettes and fleurons, gilt title, boards edged with a double gilt fillet and roulette, gilt arms in the center, gilt roulettes at the spines and endpapers, green moiré satin endpapers, gilt edges [Bound by Pr Bradel] (foxing). A very fine copy bound by Bradel, with the coat of arms of Marie Caroline de Bourbon-Sicile, duchesse de Berry (1798-1870). Provenance: Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand (1754-1838) with engraved bookplate and seal of the Valençay castle library; Jacques Lacour-Gayet (1883-1953), economist (bookplate).
