Rare counterfeit published in the same year as the original edition, which does not include the plates. Not listed in the BnF catalog. Sphere mark on title. A fine, well-bound copy. Provenance: Alexandre-Jean Mignot (1720-1791), abbé, conseiller du roi, nephew of Voltaire (engraved armorial bookplate).
