Small folio in loose sheets with a cardboard cover. Title page and 203 plates, each featuring 6 reproductions of coats of arms per page. -SPAMER (Adolf). *Das kleine Andachtsbild vom XIV. bis zum XX. Jahrhundert*. Berlin, 1930. Publisher’s cloth-bound quarto in a slipcase, 334 pages, 314 black-and-white and color illustrations on 218 plates, 53 illustrations in the text. Woodcuts, engravings, cutouts, images from missals… First edition. From the Jesuit library in Enghien. -A bound collection of 83 small engraved vignettes, printed on Chinese paper mounted on heavy paper, bound in a serpentine-patterned cover. 19th century. One in-8 volume, in period red shagreen, spine with 4 raised bands, title “Piété” in gold lettering, covers edged with gold fillets and blind-stamped bands, angular fleurons, gilt edges (slight rubbing and foxing, almost always limited to the margins). Contains, in particular, a large number of depictions of the Virgin and Child, some based on works by painters such as Raphael, da Vinci, and Mignard; several figures bearing the signature “Mame”; among the engravers are Rouargue, Th. Ruhierre, Saint-Eve, Berthiau, Leroux, and Danois.
