Twice per year, Asian arts are in the spotlight. In December and in June, Asians collectors come in Paris to discover the exceptional pieces and to boost the bide.
Porcelains, silks, bronzes, jades or horns were already collected by our ancestors of the Court of Louis XIV. However, today, it appears that these objects take back the Silk Route, but this time, from Europa to China. Known to be fragile and rare (which is complementary), porcelain vases are incredible and unmissable pieces.
For example, we can tell you the history of this typical porcelain vase which was implanted for years on a broken gueridon… a true survivor ! This wonder has finally been exchanged for the price of 1.200.000€.
The treasure of the Orient also passioned our ancestors, from incense-burners to Persian miniatures, through Iznik ceramics (by the way currently discovered under flower pots).
