Edgar CHAHINE (1874-1947)
La Belle Rita, 1903, drypoint, 28.5 x 38.5 cm, margins 37 x 49 cm (Tabanelli 112 ii/ii), a fine proof on japon, signed and dedicated "à madame Jacobson/très respectueusement", tense, a few light stains, remnants of glue on the verso of the edges, edition of about 60 proofs of which 20 on japon.
Also of the same Lerand as Rodin in The Wandering Jew, 1903, etching, drypoint and aquatint (T. 109 ii/ii), proof on Hollande, signed and annotated "?portrait of M. Lerand of the Th. du Vaudeville/Rodin's role in The Wandering Jew/1905", heavily yellowed, tense.
