Large shepherdess, stamped JB Boulard, from the Louis XVI period, delivered for M. d'Yauville fils in Versailles. Made of moulded and sculpted wood, the curved backrest rests on tapered, fluted and roughened feet. Marked on the rear crossbar. Foot restorations. H. 95 W. 71 P. 57 cm 800/1,200 Jean Baptiste Boulard received master's degree in 1755. François Marie Le Fournier d'Yauville, a "gentleman", serving in the King's venery under the orders of his father, Jacques, who was its commander. An identical shepherdess, delivered for the service of Madame d'Yauville, in Versailles (private collection). Full instructions on our site.
