Elements of a sumptuary embroidered piece of furniture, second half of the 17th century, silk embroidery polychrome in split stitch for the flower buds and in metallic thread in couch stitch for the stems and contours. Decoration of sinuous uprights of peonies, tulips, lilies and acanthus foliage ; embroidery reapplied on the three beige silk velvet leaves of a folding screen set flat.
