A molded and carved wooden chair attributed to Foliot from the Louis XV period from the castle of Anet and the castle of Eu. Decorated with ribbon moldings, shells and flowers, it rests on cambered legs. Mark on the belt EU for the castle of Eu and AT and marine ink for the castle of Anet under the Duke of Penthière H.92 L.60 D.53 cm Small restorations, reinforcements Provenance: Probably delivered for Madame de Pompadour in Crecy then sold with the castle on September 21, 1757 to the Duke of Penthievre.
