PENDULE PORTIQUE de la fin du XVIIIe s.
A late 18th century PORTICAL HANGER. In white and black marble, with rich ornaments of gilded bronzes of garlands, trimmings, foliage, pearls, bouquets of flowers It rests on four small topsy-turvy feet supporting a moulded crossbow-shaped base. The white enamelled dial indicates the hours and seconds by two gilt metal hands, engraved and pierced, a third blued steel hand indicates the date. Later movement, the balance wheel is missing. 45 x 29 x 11 cm
