Edgar CHAHINE (1874-1947) Old Paris, Quai des Célestins, 1905, etching and drypoint, 19.5 x 39 cm, margins 40 x 22.5 cm (Tabanelli 157), a fine proof on japanese paper, signed, dated 1905, dedicated "?to Madame Jacobson/very respectfully?" and annotated "Vieux Paris - 1ère épreuve tirée par moi - EG", slight yellow stains, tense, remains of glue on the back of the edges, edition of about 40 proofs. Attached from the same source Les Poids, boulevard de Clichy, 1902, etching, drypoint and aquatint (T. 88), fine proof on Hollande, signed, dated 1904 and titled, heavily yellowed, tense, remains of sticker on the back of the edges, edition of about forty proofs of which twenty-five on Hollande. Two pieces together.
