Rare tapestry in the point of the Savonnerie after Gérard Dou, end of the XVIIth - beginning of the 18th century The writer cutting his pen Polychrome wool weaving representing a man in interior dress trimming his pen. 32 x 28 cm Wooden frame and gilded stucco in the Regency style. Provenance : this is the copy studied and reproduced by S. Dreczko in his reference study and described as sold in 1762 in the sale of the property of Kurfürst Clemens under the n° 602, inventoried in the museum of Hanover in 1913 and then disappeared.
