(of which the front), 744 p., [1] f., sow skin on contemporary wooden boards, spine with 5 nerves, boards decorated with a set of roulettes and fillets, with furons in the center, all in cold, one clasp (out of 2; three dull corners, negligible worm spot on the lower jaw, rubbing and stains without gravity; foxing on the front, browning). A work of spirituality composed by Father Stainmayr, Premonstratensian canon of the Abbey of Ostehoven. It forms volume 6 of his works published in Munich in 7 volumes between 1684 and 1699. Illustrated with an allegorical frontispiece engraved on copper by Bondenehr after Reicher. Provenance: two old signatures, one on the title dated 1784, the other of Bernard Hantzen, priest, on a flyleaf.
