Old label "château de Rosny", some with the inscription "chambre à côté, du n°25". H.89 L.46 D.41cm (reinforcements, small missing) Jacob DRue Meslée : Stamp used between 1803 and 1813 Provenance : castle of Rosny-sur-Seine Delivered for Edmond de Talleyrand-Périgord (1787-1872) in 1808, husband of Dorothée de Courlande in 1809. The estate and its furnishings were purchased in 1818 by the Duke of Berry, husband of Marie-Caroline of the Two Sicilies, for the sum of 2,500,000 francs.
