The car presented here is powered by a nice sounding engine named V6 Busso. This engine develops 160 horsepower and allowed at the time to compete with the German sports cars.
The advantage of the Alfa Romeo was an almost perfect balance of the masses compared to the competitors. The heavy engine was compensated by the position of the gearbox glued to the rear axle, which gave an excellent power to weight ratio.
The GTV 6's will be found on the racetrack trying to fight against the German and other very sharp cars. The sound made by the engine in the laps earned it the terms "raging" and "irritating".
The bodywork deserves special care, as the Italian firm did not see fit to work on quality metals, so it will be necessary to keep a close eye on the rocker panels and the wheel arches.
The velvet interior is of good quality and in relatively good condition, the on-board equipment is of Veglia make and seems not to have suffered from time.
It has electric windows at the front and mechanical windows at the back.
