Lampas, circa 1770, lampas bottom satin jaspered green water, cream edging decoration of Turks seated on sprays of flowers and foliage supporting a flowered arch sheltering a pagoda; in the lower part a magot on a palanquin carried by two servants in ideal palace illuminated by chandeliers with pendants. Fringed on three sides with gold taper, (rare small holes, slight soiling). 142 x 66 cm A fabric with the same drawing of complete report (185 x 70 cm) sold in Senlis at the castle of Chantilly on 14/6/1997 under the n° 454. Xavier Petitcol underlines "the exceptional dimension of the drawing allows to consider a princely or royal order.
