Painted silk cape, China for Europe, second half of the 18th century, bright yellow pekin with satin stripes and gros de Tours painted with garlands and flowering branches. Gold system braid with vine decoration underlining the perimeter and the orphreys, the chaperon fringed with gold taper. Lined in buckram and satin, (accident on the bottom). 343 x 173 cm approximately.
