(title), 74 p., contemporary blond calf, smooth spine decorated, havana title-piece throughout, triple gilt fillet to the boards, fillet to the edges, marbled edges (slight rubbing, negligible stains to the boards, faint wetness in the margin of the first 5 f.). Rare edition of this key satire attributed to the count of Provence, future Louis XVIII. It is not in the BnF, which has several variants, all in 8° format. Barbier (III, 33) cites for his part only 3 editions in-8° and none in-12. The key which appears on the back of the title reveals among the personalities put in scene: Louis XVI, Maurepas, Maupeou, Turgot, Colbert.
