Rare Lyon edition, one of the very first, of this collection of decisions of the Parlement dauphinois compiled and commented by the jurist Gui Pape (1402-1475), member of the said assembly. Edition established by Johannes de Gradibus, Milanese canonist, and Antoine Rambaud, Dauphinese jurisconsult. Text on 2 columns framed with commentaries, with woodcut initials; title in red and black decorated with a vignette and framed with busted figures, probably the members of the parliament, and another sitting at the top of the composition, probably the author, all woodcut. Provenance: Pierre Audier (signature concealed at foot of title); Duteil (ancient signature); Emile Grignard (signature dated 1836; modern bookplate scratched out); Dominicans of Poitiers (modern stamp); Ancient annotation in margin of title, and on a few pages. (USTC 144557).
