Collection of 57 pieces published in 1617, in a large in-8 volume, period soft parchment, smooth spine, title in ink (spine a little darkened, small ink stains on lower cover; fine worm damage to the corner of a few pages at the beginning of the volume, light spotting or halos at the head of a few pieces). Important collection relating to Concino Concini, marshal of Ancre, and his wife Léonora Dori, confidante of Marie de Médicis. Faced with the extent of the couple's power over royal affairs, Louis XIII had Concini assassinated, and the marshal was condemned to death and executed.
