HUYSMANS (Joris-Karl). Le drageoir aux épices. Paris, Librairie générale, 1875. In-16, polished cherry half-chagrin with corners, spine with 4 raised bands, gilt author and title, gilt head, parchment cover preserved [Bunoz] (slight rubbing to spine). First edition, reissued with a new title page bearing the second edition notice. The text first appeared in 1874 at the Dentu address under the title "Le drageoir à épices", and few copies were sold; the remainder of the print run was used for this edition. 300 numbered copies, this one no. 107. Provenance: Jacques-Émile Blanche (1861-1942), painter and writer, by descent.
