In-4 oblong, cream box, spine and upper cover with raised horizontal bands, on which are stamped in brown, on the spine, the names of the 2 authors and the 2 titles, and on the upper cover, the general title and the names of all the artists, fawn suede lining and endpaper, original fold-out pale blue embossed paper cover retained, untrimmed, half-box folder with flaps lined with sand suede, matching slipcase [P.-L. Martin] (case slightly rubbed and cracked). Original edition illustrated with 13 original drypoints and etchings: - 3 in color by Max Ernst, Joan Miró and André Beaudin. - 10 in black by Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti, Louis Marcoussis, André Masson, Jules Pascin, Camille Bryen, André Derain, André Dunoyer de Segonzac, Alberto Magnelli, and Léopold Survage. Text printed by Raymond Billoir at Imprimeries Union de Louis Barnier. The plates were printed by Georges Chertuite at Ateliers Lacourière et Frélaut. Signed by all the artists on a double sheet at the beginning of the volume (except Derain, Giacometti, Pascin and Marcoussis, who died before the book was published) and signed by Iliazd opposite the justification.
