[Engraving]. [Architecture]. BLONDEL (Jacques-François). Important and rare set of 11 copper-engraved plates, each autographed, signed and dated by J.-F. Blondel, for use as a "bon à tirer", with mention of the engraver's payment. (The plates, in in-8 format (copper, approx. 18 x 12 cm.), were intended to illustrate a work by Blondel. One plate bears the signature of the engraver Ransonnette. Dates range from July 12, 1771 to April 1, 1772.
