These two pastels belong to Madame Laperche's Parisian period. This woman pastellist was featured in Dominique d'Arnoult's article "Thérèse Laperche peintre épistolière et bonne mère" in "Jean-Marie Delaperche 1771-1843, un artiste face aux tourments de l'histoire" ed. Snoeck 2020.
