French work - (18th century) Exceptional set in the form of a rectangular oak box, entirely lacquered in red and decorated with gilded baroque motifs, the interior lined with Louis XV blue satin and titled "Toilet set", containing two polychrome porcelain pommadiers with floral decoration, probably from Vincennes, two polychrome porcelain mortars or blush cups decorated with flowers, ribbons and garlands, a piquoir, a knife, an eggcup or silver goblet and its cup, a funnel, and eight colorless crystal cylindrical bottles for floral waters and perfumed essences, topped with their silver mounts and stoppers.
