French work - (late 18th century) Poplar case decorated with polychrome martin varnish, featuring putti, a château, a gallant scene, flowers, a bird and lictor beams, with two metal "Souvenir d'Amitié" vignettes, and containing a gold thimble (?) , a pair of scissors, a bone plate, two scent bottles, a needle case, three piquoirs, and a mini cabbage cutter (inner resin blocking, not original). d : 8 x 5.5 x 5cm
