A cubic case in oak with rosewood veneer, the top of the lid decorated with a checkerboard pattern, the inside lined with red satin and a mirror inside the lid, containing a polychrome porcelain pommadier, probably from Vincennes, decorated with roses, an egg cup or goblet and its silver dish, tweezers, a pair of gilded metal scissors, an ear pick, a funnel, four cylindrical faceted crystal floral water bottles (one cracked) with silver-mounted stoppers, and two eau de cologne bottles. (lid cords not original, key missing).
