In-8, midnight-blue half-maroquin, 5-rib spine, gilt author and title, ornate caissons, gilt fillet at the edges, untrimmed [Masson-Debonnelle] (slightly faded color, corners a little dulled).
New edition of the major work by the composer Canon Gantez (1607-1670), who at the time of publication (1643) held the position of maître de chapelle at Saint-Etienne Cathedral in Auxerre.
Limited edition. A fine copy on laid paper containing the frontispiece in 4 states, well bound with all margins.
